Submitted by: J.C. and L.C. who migrated from Toa Alta, Puerto Rico to San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2004 to serve full-time in a job-dropping way.

What is the spiritual highlight of your migration?
When we migrated, we realized that the church is really our home. It doesn’t matter how near or far you go, when you do it under the fellowship and covering of the church, it becomes a blessing. Now we have two daughters and we want them to love the church life in the same way, knowing that we have nothing too precious for our Lord. If He wants us to go, we go. If He wants us to stay, or even to do nothing at all, we will. We love our Master!

Is there anything else you would like to explain or share?
After serving full-time for 5 years, now I work part-time giving music lessons and my husband is finishing his doctoral degree. At the same time he is working as a TA in the University of Puerto Rico. Our daughters are 5 and 2 years old. Even though we are not serving as full-timers, we are still serving full-time by opening our home for college students, living a normal church life from house to house, and serving with the children (me) and the young people from junior high and high school (my husband). It is a blessing to live this life!
